How do you handle Grief

Hello. I’m not sure exactly what to ask but I just want to give this a shot to aid my healing. I lost my family in a space of 2 weeks in June 2021. My life has gone through different things since then. At the moment, I feel so low, incapable, irresponsible etc and I really don’t have morale for anything

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your feelings. I'm truly sorry for your profound loss. Grief can be an overwhelming and isolating experience, but it's important to remember that your feelings are valid. It’s natural to feel low, incapable, or lacking motivation when going through such a significant loss. Healing from grief is not a linear process, and it often involves many different emotions and stages. It’s okay to take your time and to allow yourself to feel what you need to feel. Seeking support, whether through talking with friends, family, or a therapist, can be a crucial part of this process. Sharing your story, like you’ve done here, is a brave step towards healing.

Grieving can be incredibly exhausting, both emotionally and physically. It’s essential to be kind to yourself and to acknowledge the small steps you take each day. Establishing a routine that includes self-care activities, even simple ones like eating well, getting rest, and engaging in light physical activity, can help build a foundation for healing. Remember that it’s okay to ask for help and to lean on others during this time.  Grief doesn’t have a set timeline, so be patient with yourself and know that it's okay to seek out the support you need to navigate through this challenging period.
