Thank you for sharing this with me. I can hear how overwhelming and exhausting it must be to live with such persistent anxiety, especially when it affects so many areas of your life—your work, sleep, and self-confidence. It’s incredibly brave of you to talk about this, and I want to acknowledge the strength it takes to open up about something so personal.

First, I want you to know that what you're feeling is completely valid. Many people experiencing anxiety feel stuck, panicked, or like they’re not getting better fast enough. It’s not a sign of weakness or failure—it’s a very human response to ongoing stress and emotional overload. You're not alone in this.

That said, I want to gently remind you that the fact you’re aware of your patterns, and that you’re able to describe them so clearly, is actually a big sign of progress. You’ve already started the healing process by recognizing the anxiety, identifying when it tends to show up, and acknowledging how it impacts you. That level of self-awareness is a strength—not everyone gets there so easily.

Therapy isn’t always a straight road. Sometimes it feels like things are getting harder before they get better, but that’s often a sign that you’re addressing the real, deeper issues. Change takes time, and it’s okay if some days feel heavier than others. Please be patient with yourself—you’re learning new ways to cope, and that takes both time and practice.

I want to reassure you that you can get to a place where anxiety no longer controls you. You are capable. You are not broken. You deserve peace, and I believe in your ability to get there. Let’s keep working together to build that calm space inside you, piece by piece. You're not alone in this journey, and you’re doing better than you think.

Would you be open to exploring some techniques to manage those intense panic moments when they arise? We can find something that works for you.

If you are currently feeling suicidal or are in crisis, call 911 or proceed to your local emergency room.
